3 Reasons I Love Mini Sessions
How to book with me
Booking a mini session with me is super simple, so we will start there. I offer about 3 to 4 mini-session opportunities throughout the year, and the best way to be the first to know about them and get one of the limited spots is to join my email list. Joining my email list will guarantee that you are the first to know about any minis throughout the year and any other specials I offer. There is also a lot of mommy encouragement I offer through these emails. Because minis have limited spots, it’s nice to be the first to know. Now onto the 3 reasons I love mini sessions. Once you know which mini you want, we start the easy process of securing your spot. I’ll have to do a blog about how to book with me very soon.
Great introduction
A mini-session is a great introduction to professional photography.
I know that booking a professional photographer might feel overwhelming if you have never done it before. That is my top reason why I love a mini session. With less time and financial commitment, it feels safer to try out for the first time. This is also a great way to let your kids know that it can be a fun experience to get pictures with the right photographer—that’s me, of course.
They take less time
Mini-sessions are short and sweet.
My mini sessions are usually 10 or 15 minutes. I have a short session flow that allows me to get all the must-have photos in a short amount of time. This is my number 2 reason I love minis. The shorter time frame eases parents’ minds when it comes to the behavior of their children, although I’m always up for the beautiful chaos that lively children bring to a session. Those are some of the best moments that you will never want to forget.
Less financial commitment
A mini-session costs less.
Because you get a mini version of my regular session, the price tag is less as well. However, you still get the same great product from me. I understand that every family has a different budget and might not have a full session in said budget every year. That is the third reason I love a mini-session. The lower price tag would also be a benefit if you wanted to book multiple sessions throughout the year. The first year is a great time for this. Do 3, 6, 9, and 12 months. Make some of them mini-sessions. Win-win.
Mini sessions are a great introduction to professional photography; they take less time and cost less. There are many other reasons I love them, but that is for another time. These are my top 3 reasons I love them. If you want to join my email list so you are “in the know” about all things Pix by Jill, join here.
