3 Reasons I Love Spring Sessions
Spring is nature’s way of saying, ‘Let’s party!’ – Robin Williams

There is something special about the newness of spring. All of nature is coming out of a deep sleep and starting to come to life. Here in the Midwest we get all four seasons, and I love the changes they bring.

- Nature’s beauty The colors of the blooming trees and flowers are so bright and joyful. That’s my first reason to book a family session this spring: the colors and flowers. All the planters are fresh with blooms. The trees are blooming in white, pink, and purple. Tulips and daffodils in so many colors. Even the dandelions are pretty against the bright green grass.

2. Earlier sunsets All my family sessions are booked an hour and a half before sunset. This earlier sunset means an earlier session start time. If your children have an early bedtime, this would be a great option for your family. Earlier sunsets are a great reason to book family photos in the spring. Do you have an early riser? Maybe you want to consider a sunrise session.

3. Cooler temps and no bugs!Another thing that I love about spring family sessions is no bugs and cooler temps. The weather during spring is my favorite—so crisp and perfect. Not too cold and not too hot. The bugs also haven’t gotten so lively just yet, and that is another great reason to book a session in the spring.

All of the reasons above make spring a great time to book a family session. The colors and all the beauty nature has to offer. Earlier sunsets make for earlier sessions. Cooler temperatures and no bugs. Sounds dreamy, right? Let me help you capture your story through photography.
